While the game was initially criticized for a general lack of content at launch, the rebooted Killer Instinct has grown tremendously since then thanks to two seasons worth of DLC content, with even more on the way next year. Besides Wu, Rash from Battletoads is another fighter confirmed for the game's third season, potentially hinting that the third season will have more guest characters as opposed to new versions of classic KI fighters.
